Dixon, Ky 6/7/21- Updates from the family Monday afternoon say little Waylon ended up having exploratory surgery removing a portion of his pancreas, “but after many prayers and a few very rough days, Waylon surprised the doctors and majorly improved and was finally able to go home this morning.”

“If you believe in the power of prayer I ask that you please pray for this little boy. Add him to your prayer list this morning at church. Let’s work together to have everyone praying for this little boy and his momma Marissa Walters, dad Kevin Walters, sisters and all of his family.” says family friend, “Waylon was being a typical boy with no fear and decided to jump off of a trailer he was on and was ran over. He has a 3rd degree laceration to the spleen and a 2nd degree laceration to his liver. Very small collapsed lung. He hasn’t had much rest due to pain not being controlled yet, vomiting and he has spiked a fever a few times. Please just pray that this little boy will be healed, surgery will continue to be avoided if possible and that he returns back to his rowdy self soon.
Henderson, KY 5/28/21- According to officials in Henderson County, a 3-year-old was taken to the hospital after the child was reportedly riding on a trailer, fell off and was then ran over by the trailer.
Just after 8PM Friday night, emergency responders with Cairo Fire Department and the Henderson Rescue Squad were dispatched with the Henderson Sheriffs Office to intercept a vehicle at Cairo Elementary School which was attempting to transport the child to the hospital. A Deaconess Henderson ambulance took the child from the Cairo Elementary School parking lot and transported him to a nearby hospital.
No word yet on the extent of the injuries.
