Car Prowlers and Burglary in Henderson, Can You Help Police?
Henderson, KY 1/25/2023 – On Monday, the Henderson Police Department (HPD) reports responding to three car prowls on the north end of town where money, electronic devices and identification documents were stolen.
Just after 1PM on Tuesday, the HPD reported having responded to 10 more car prowl calls. Investigators say these thefts occurred in the area of The Hills and Wolf Hills subdivisions. These car prowls had reports of money, computers, various electronics, identification documents, tools, and two firearms stolen from vehicles overnight. Victims reported a group 3-5 individuals walking in the area between the times of midnight and 5am.
The Henderson Police Department would like to remind everyone to remember to lock your doors and to please not leave valuables or firearms in your vehicles.
Henderson Police also report that just before 7PM on Tuesday, officers were called to North Lincoln Ave in reference to a burglary. The victim stated someone broke into her residence causing damages and stealing a gaming console.
Police officers responded to Subway on US 41 North on Tuesday in reference to an armed robbery. Subway employees told investigators an unknown suspect entered the restaurant and pointed a gun at the employees demanding all the money out of the register. The suspect fled the scene on foot.
