UPDATE: Body Found by Search Crews

UPDATE1: Henderson, KY 6/28/21 (11:42AM)- Henderson County Deputy Coroner Ron Adams has confirmed the body of Kue Gay, 24 of Owensboro, was the body pulled from the Ohio River near the mouth of the Green River Monday morning. Adams says the Ky Fish and Wildlife located the body. With the assistance of the Henderson City-County Rescue Squad, the body was transported to the Angel Mounds ramp.

Adams says the autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow morning in Madisonville.

Henderson, KY 6/28/21 (11AM)- An unidentified body has been found on the Ohio River near the mouth of the Green River as search and rescue crews continued to search for the missing fisherman from the Newburgh Lock and Dam.

It is unknown at this time if the body is related to the missing fisherman.

Authorities say the Henderson County Coroner’s Office took possession of the body at the Angel Mounds boat ramp as rescue crews arrived at the ramp after locating the body near the Green River.
