Bag of Weed Opens the Door For More…
Henderson, KY 9/14/21- Just before 11PM on Tuesday night, officers with the Henderson Police Department were called to the area of First Street for the report of a suspicious person sitting in a vehicle, in front of a residence.
Officers arrived in the area and located the vehicle occupied by Savanna Gish, 28 of Henderson. According to police, when Gish was attempting to retrieve her information, she allegedly opened her glove box to reveal a bag of marijuana. With the bag of marijuana, this prompted officers to search the vehicle locating more narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
Gish was arrested and transported to the Henderson County Detention Center where an unclothed search was conducted which revealed more concealed contraband. Gish was charged with the following charges:
- Operating on Suspended License,
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia,
- Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st (Meth),
- Possession of Marijuana,
- Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd
