Authorities seeking suspect who fled the scene of fatal accident in Henderson
Henderson, KY 7/17/22- Just before 8AM Friday morning responders from the Henderson Police and the Henderson Fire Department were called to the intersection of Hwy 425 and Old Corydon Road in reference to the report of a collision between a Dodge van and a Kawasaki motorcycle.
According to investigating officers, the motorcycle was headed west on Hwy 425 and the van was headed north on Old Corydon Road. The driver of the motorcycle, Charles B. Harris III, 48 of Owensboro, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident. The passenger of the motorcycle, Patricia Harris, 48 of Owensboro, was transported to Deaconess in Evansville for her injuries.
Henderson Police say the operator of the van fled the scene of the accident on foot prior to their arrival. The Henderson Police Department in partnership with the Henderson EMA, Henderson County Sheriffs Office, Henderson Fire Department, and the Vanderburgh County Sheriff Office from Evansville attempted to locate the suspect. Police have not reported any new information regarding this case as of Sunday at 4PM.

Henderson, KY 7/14/22- Just before 7PM on Thursday, the Henderson County Sheriff’s Department was called with first responders from the Cairo Fire Department to the intersection of KY 425 and KY 1299 for the report of an accident with injuries between a Tally’s tow truck and a F-150 pickup truck.
According to deputies, the driver of a F-150, Scott Miller and the passenger, Pamela Miller, were sent to
Deaconess Midtown Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Along with the Henderson County Sheriffs Office and Cairo, other responders included Henderson County EMA, Deaconess Henderson EMS, and the Henderson City and County Rescue.
