Armed Robbery Tuesday Night at Henderson Fast Food Restaurant
Henderson, KY 2/22/22- Officers with the Henderson Police Department were dispatched to Captain D’s in the 400 block of North Green Street Tuesday night for the report of a robbery in progress.
According to the report, officers arrived on scene just after 10PM and were told by Captain D’s employees that a black female came to the drive-thru window wanting change for a five dollar bill. The worker began to grab singles bills to make change for the five dollar bill when the suspect then advised she wanted all the money from the register and brandished a firearm pointing it at the worker. The worker then gave the suspect the whole cash register drawer.

Once arrested, the suspect faces charges of Robbery in the First Degree. Robbery in the First Degree is a Class B Felony in Kentucky and is punishable by a sentence of imprisonment of not less than 10 years.
