Man Arrested After Allegedly Strangling and Assaulting Female

Henderson, KY 1/11/22- Henderson Police Officers were called to the 400 block of Ray Street on Tuesday night for reports of a man strangling and physically assaulting a female.

When officers arrived just after 11PM, the suspect, identified as Justis Wilson, 24 of Henderson, was not on scene but police say he was apprehended at a separate residence shortly after the crime was reported.

Justis Wilson was arrested and lodged at the Henderson County Detention Center where he is charged with:

  • Strangulation in the (1st Degree)
  • Assault (4th Degree) (Domestic Violence) (Minor Injury)
  • Probation Violation (For Felony Offense)
