King Kat Tournament in Henderson Saturday

HENDERSON, KY, June 2, 2021– Catfish anglers from across the country will be in Henderson this Saturday, June 5, for a King Kat Tournament Trail event presented by the Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s.

That means the downtown riverfront will be humming with activity as fisherman angle toward the weigh-in ceremony that starts at 3 p.m. The weigh-in station will be located near the Second Street boat ramp.

Recreational boaters launching in the City of Henderson are encouraged to use the Hayes Boat Ramp this weekend if possible. Overflow parking also will be offered near the Second and Third street ramps to accommodate this tourism event as well as recreational boaters.

Fisherman will start their competition day early Saturday morning.
