Juvenile Struck by Vehicle on Washington Street

Henderson, KY 8/1/21- Henderson emergency responders were called to a collision on Sunday between a bicyclist and a motor vehicle at the intersection of Washington and S Julia Street.

Just before 11AM, a juvenile was riding a bicycle on S Julia Street and was struck by Jennifer Coffman, 59 of Henderson, when he crossed Washington Street in front Coffman’s vehicle. According to Henderson Police, the juvenile was not wearing a helmet.

The Henderson Fire Department and Deaconess Henderson EMS treated the juvenile on scene and the juvenile then transported to Deaconess Henderson ER by ambulance with suspected minor injuries.
