HPD: Missing Juvenile Located; Strangulation Investigation Underway

Henderson Ky 6/20/21- Just after 4PM Sunday, the Henderson Police Department were called to the 1700 block of North Green Street in reference to a missing juvenile being located.

According to police, the juvenile told officers her mother attacked her and strangled her in the 600 block of 1st Street. The mother of the juvenile told police the family member the juvenile was staying with knew she was missing and did not report it.

Other charges include: Strangulation 1st Degree, Assault 4th Degree Domestic Violence Minor Injury, and Custodial Interference.

HPD tells HendersonWatch names can not be released at this time due to this being an ongoing investigation.
