Heavy Police Presence Reported in Henderson After Shots Fired Call

Henderson KY 10/1/21- A heavy police presence was reported near Clay and Mayer Street Friday after police were called for the report of “shots fired” in the area.

Just before 4:30PM the Henderson Police Department responded to the intersection of Clay Street and Mayer Street for the report of shots fired. Witnesses told investigating officers they observed one vehicle shooting at another vehicle.

Officers report one 9mm shell casing was collected at the scene of the reported shooting. No suspects have been identified at this time.
