Henderson, Ky 5/13/21- Thursday just before 1AM, the Henderson County Sheriffs Office executed a Felony Probation Violation arrest warrant in the 8400 block of Highway 41-Alternate for a Cody Stone, 31 of Henderson.
Deputies located a male subject, later identified as Cody Stone, and a female subject who was asleep on a couch in Stone’s detached garage behind the residence. When deputies attempted to identify Stone (and the female), the male tried telling deputies he wasn’t Cody Stone. As deputies were questioning the female, the male subject attempted to jump on an ATV and flee the scene. Deputies, who knew Stone on sight and were able to identify him, quickly stopped his attempt at elude deputies.
According to the report, Investigating deputies contacted a detective with the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force (PNTF) who responded to assist with a search of the garage after a large amount of suspected meth and paraphernalia was observed in plain view. Deputies say a large amount of drug packaging material was also laid out on a bench in the garage.
Detectives say they were able to seize over two ounces of suspected Methamphetamine in multiple bags along with a metal cylinder container containing suspected meth and an unspecified amount of Marijuana in the garage. Suspected meth was also laid out on a glass plate, several small plastic baggies and a knife which deputies say appeared to be used by Stone to cut off 3” chunks for packaging the Methamphetamine.
Detectives also report seizing packaging material used in drug trafficking including approximately 100 plastic baggies (some with the corners cut off), items used to smoke meth including tubes and suspected meth pipes, Marijuana smoking devices including multiple packages of rolling papers, three large glass Marijuana bongs and a hollowed out deer antler pipe with burnt residue inside.
According to investigators, the street value of the suspected Methamphetamine and Marijuana is approximately $6,000.00.
Cody James Stone was arrested on the Felony Probation Violation Warrants on charges of:
- TRAFFICKING CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST. > 2 GRAMS > 2ND OFFENSE.
- PERSISTENT FELONY OFFENDER II
- SHOCK PROBATION IN FELONY CONVICTIONS.
Stone was additionally charged by the PNTF for:
- TRAFFICKING CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST. METH >2 GRAMS > 2nd OFFENSE.
- POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA.
- POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA.
Cody Stone was un-cooperative with law enforcement and was arrested and lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center with out further incident on a No Bond order. This is an on-going drug investigation. Additional charges and arrests are expected to be forth coming.
