UPDATE: Henderson, KY 7/10/21- After thorough investigation, Henderson Water Utilities has determined that the Marywood Drive storm main repair is more extensive than originally anticipated, therefore, it will take longer than expected to repair.  The affected storm drain is a 60+ year old pipe which is failing in numerous places.

According to officials, sourcing and setting the new pipe required to make a permanent repair is unfortunately going to take at least two weeks; therefore, Marywood Drive will remain closed in the area from Gum Street to US HWY 41 until the end of July.

HWU would like to thank Public Works and Safety for their assistance thus far. Please plan for other routes and avoid the area if possible.  Businesses have access to their parking lots from US. 41.

If you have any questions regarding this closure update, please contact Henderson Water Utility at 270-826-2824.
